A working television based on Baird's original - the only mechanical TV in regular production. John Logie Baird devised the first practical television in the late 1920s, he described this as a "Televisor". This kit contains all the parts needed to make a televisor that works in much the same way as the original televisor and will allow you to experience TV as it was then. TV footage is encoded on a CD included in this kit. Simply plug the televisor into a CD player and play the CD to view the footage. Approximate size: 260 x 195 x 70mm. Please note: Due to high demand, there may be some delay in despatching this item.

Received the Televisor kit today, July 9, 2007 (ordered 2/7/07). Took about 1 hour to construct. Upon powering up the test card appeared in seconds. I was thrilled. Playback from the CD was successful with a small adjustment of the sync control. Overall I am very pleased and will be looking into the NBTVA for more material on the Televisor. Thank you for a wonderful kit. A tribute to a Scotsman, the country of my ancestry. Well made, great instructions and it works like a charm! Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars!
